Compliance is the foundation of Jordan’s business operations. We believe maintaining a workforce that embraces their individual compliance responsibility will ensure the organization maintains its status as a good corporate citizen.
All individuals representing our organization have a personal responsibility to learn and comply with regulatory standards related to their daily activities. Compliance encompasses a variety of areas including patient privacy, security of information, healthcare fraud and abuse, reimbursement practices, and state and federal regulations.
Jordan maintains an internal, voluntary compliance program including the appointment of a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), written policies, an anonymous compliance hotline, and a Corporate Compliance Committee to oversee Company activities and provide guidance to the CCO.
Jordan employees receive training throughout employment on Jordan’s Corporate Compliance Program. The Company maintains an ‘open disclosure’ philosophy to ensure employees report perceived or actual regulatory violations without fear of retribution. Reports of actual or potential violations are investigated and actions are taken to ensure Jordan remains in compliance with regulations. Members of the Compliance team include experienced legal counsel and a variety of professionals who are knowledgeable about Medicare and Medicaid.
At the time of employment, all Jordan employees are required to sign the Company’s CODE OF CONDUCT which states:
Jordan is committed to:
(a) providing quality and clinically appropriate care to its clients; (b) conducting itself in the most professional, legal, and ethical manner with regard to all healthcare and business practices; and (c) complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations that govern the healthcare services that it provides.
