Description:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring skilled nursing service in their own home.  The LVN teaches and supervises the family regarding the best ways to meet each client’s needs.  As a LVN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse performing hands-on nursing services and education to the patient during in-home visits.  You have the unique opportunity to help patients remain independent and in the comforts of their own home.  Field clinicians begin and end their day from their home and no longer come into an office each day.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Prefer at least one (1) year of active experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a health care setting, preferably home health, hospital or nursing home.
• Possession of a working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid home health care benefits, policies and procedures preferred.
