If I am a client or patient, what should I do in the event of an emergency or natural disaster?

All Jordan locations have an emergency preparedness plan to assist you in continuing to receive home care services either by our team or another healthcare provider. If you or your loved one is required to evacuate, we ask that you contact your local Jordan office to inform them of your plans. (You may be asked to provide the name & telephone number of someone we can contact to check on you.)

If you do not know which office to contact, you may call Jordan’s central call center at 1-800-646-8773 for assistance. Once the emergency is over and you are able to return home, we ask that you contact the local Jordan office so that we may resume services in your home.

What if I am a Jordan employee?

If you are required to evacuate, please contact your local Jordan office or supervisor as soon as possible. If you are unable to contact your local office, or are unsure of who to call, please call 1-800-646-8773 so that we can direct your call to the correct location.

Following an emergency, Jordan will provide an update to its employees, clients, and the general public on the status of its operations. We encourage you to contact your local office, listen to TV and radio announcements, and monitor the website, periodically for updates.
