Description:

The Pediatric LVN/RN administers nursing care to pediatric clients requiring skilled nursing service.  He/she maintains knowledge of current nursing trends, techniques and innovations to meet the special needs of his/her patients.  The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Registered Nurse may teach the family regarding the best ways to meet each client’s needs.  He/she also upholds company and regulatory standards of nursing practice and performs all duties in accordance with physician’s orders and under the direction and supervision of the Pediatric RN Case Manager.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Prefer experience as a Pediatric Nurse but will consider a minimum of one (1) year of active experience as Licensed Vocational Nurse in a health care setting preferably in home health, a hospital or nursing home.
• Prefer some working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid home health procedures.

Description:

The Attendant fills a very important position at Jordan Health Services.  He/she goes into the homes of Jordan Health Services (JHS) clients as scheduled to provide basic care for medically dependent children who cannot do so for themselves.  This involves everything from bathing the JHS client to cooking certain meals for the client and cleaning the client’s home.  The Attendant spends a lot of time with the client in their home, and therefore must be very compassionate, patient and responsible.  He/she must also be constantly aware of the client’s safety and well being and ready to assist in emergencies.

Requirements:

• One (1) year’s experience as an attendant providing personal care services preferred.
• CNA preferred and with experience in that field.

• Current PT license in the state of licensure or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Prefer two (2) years experience as a PT, but not required
